FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
"Which academy class is right for my student?"
Generally speaking, the 100 class is for those students who are new to tennis. They have been playing for less than two years and are actively trying to learn the techniques of the sport. The 200 class, are those who have learned most if not all strokes of the sport, are able to rally the ball with ease, and implement some basic strategies while competing. The 300 class have a strong understanding of all strokes, are utilizing advanced strategies while competing, and are active on the UTR Junior Circuit & USTA junior circuit. The 400 class are competing in closed and high-level events, and ultimately seeking to play the sport at the highest levels (i.e. collegiate and professional tennis).

"My student has taken lessons before, but it's been a while, what should we do?"
Our recommendation is always to start back with private lessons. This allows your student time to get back into the swing of things. It also allow us time to evaluate their game so we properly place them in the academy.
"How does my student move up in the academy?"
It is wholly our agenda to "graduate" as many players as possible, as often as possible. Accordingly, all academy players are evaluated weekly. It is very important to us that your student is in a training environment that promotes success and pushes their limits each week. If we ever sense this is not the case then it is time for your student to take on their next challenge by moving up to the next academy class!
